Mario couldn't break blocks unless he had a mushroom to be big. He couldn't throw fire unless he got the glowy flower. He couldn't fly without the cape or the raccoon suite. Without all of these things Mario was a 20x20 pixelated Italian plummer. He was nothing. You can't rescue the Princess if you play the game with no powerups right?
