i saw heaven today. like a spider laying a silky web, the clouds strung out in a continuous horizontal run of white mystery. i tilted my head sideways in the van window and above the line were mountains. above the mountains were deeper clouds with even more mystery inside. i wondered what itd be like to be on that mountain in the clouds and look down below, to wonder what it would be like to be in the van with my head tilted sideways.
